I set up a Microsoft Exchange account with my gmail, and the push works just fine for me, both at 3.1 & 3.1.2

You didn't jailbreak before you let the phone activate did you? I have read that causes issues with push.

I have the same problem. No push apps work. I'm trying to figure out if I can downgrade to 3.0.1 somehow because of this...

    I got push working!!!
This is what I did. In Pwnage tool, when building your custom firmware file, I clicked yes when it asked me "Do you normally activate with iTunes". I had an AT&T unactivated sim card inside the phone the whole time. After letting iTunes load the firmware, I dismissed the notice saying waiting for activation. Installed ultrasnow and put in my T-Mob sim in afterwards. Push works like a charm now.

Thanks for posting this. This works like a charm on T-Mobile in USA. Just need that old AT&T SIM lying around. The one I used has never been activated. Punched it out of the card myself.

Does this way work with firmware 5.11.07 or does it have to be the 4.x.x firmware? because i have couple of AT&T sims that i could use ;D
