He is an amazing and smart kid, well he just turned 21 on the 2nd, so not a kid anymore. OT, he won a $20,000 prize from Intel in Sweden for his 3-D Imaging invention. Can't wait to try this.

Can't wait for this to be released! I just got my wife an iPhone and she is on 3.1 OTB. She'll love her phone even more once she discovers the world of jailbreak

I feel bad because I can do all the things she wants to do but can't.. soon though

Looks like Apple beat him to the punch....firmware 3.1.2 is out

Of course everyone should know by now to not upgrade and just wait, but the problem is that if something goes wrong in the jailbreak process, it's just another month-long wait. That's what happened to me with my 3.0.1 3g[s], and I'm just hoping it doesn't happen again.

Geo has slipped on his ETA but luckily doesn't get as much hastle as the Dev Team do if they miss an ETA!

I'm sure it will be here soon and 3.12 doesn't seem to be a problem.

IF he releases the JB for 3.1 that would be a BENEFIT. Since 90% of us now have our 3.1 SHSH files already stored. plus when 3.1 truly breaks everyone else can then have their 3.1 SHSH files stored....Which means everyone will forever be able to go back to 3.1, even if something screws up on 3.1.2....w00t!!!!

Yes but.... Some of us are preserved at 3.0. (like me) and don't want our bb updated. Not that I need to be unlocked but atfer I do a housing swap. I might sell thus bad boy. It kinda hoping I'll get some more money being able to save the 3.0 bb but be running 3.1.2.

If u are not already jail broken. Then your going to have to wait for the 3.1 jail break. When it comes, u will be able to install Cyndia. Which will allow you to store your SHSH on their server for later use.

Honestly, I have only been using it out of necessity as I couldn't even stand to look at it.

Try this! I used this method on a friends iPhone and it worked. Still has 5.11 base band but it will be jailbroken.
