Manually install cydia on 3gs 3.1?

So I've been jailbroken on every version since the iPhone came out. I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a 32gb 3gs. It was jailbroken on 3.0.1. I decided to try to add ofm's landscape osx theme, and it totally screwed me over with the circle of death!!! I couldn't believe it. So now i'm on 3.1 unjailbroken for about 10 days, 4 hours, and 31 minutes (give or take a psycho obsession or two) and hating every minute of it. I've been trying to think of anything and everything.
I came across this:
DiskAid - USB Flash Drive for iPhone & iPod Touch. Transfer Files betwen your Computer and your iPhone or iPod Touch.
so my question is, what's to stop me from using this to manually install cydia?

well to use diskaid i think u need to be jailbroken sry

Did you actually open and read the link? It says no jailbreak required

ok well even then ull need to get cydia.deb u cant have terminal so u cant install it and if u get cydia.app it still wont work cause without terminal u cant install it
and i just opened the link and it said No jailbreak needed (Needed to access the Root Folder) (i just copied and pasted it) but u cant access the root folder so u cant even install cydia no matter wat

What about certain utilities from cydia like winterboard, cuz I'm sorry, but being JB for so long, the default theme for iPhone is sooooo boooooooooooooring!!!!!!!!!

no sry i use diskaid and u can probably only get media folder so like only adding photos without itunes

sry u just have to wait for a jailbreak

everyday is like detoxing. Dont get me wrong, I love my iphone like nobodies biz... but my god am I missing soooooooo much! its sooooooo boring!
I miss my pdanet, I miss my themes, I miss everything!
