Need some clarification, please . . .

Using 3G, 3.0.1, jailbroken, unlocked on t-mobile.

Phone is fine, running happily. While I have looked over the upgrades listed for 3.1, is there ANY reason I would technically NEED to upgrade other than "latest, greatest"?

I've downloaded the pwnage tool, etc. to upgrade the 3G, but is there really a need if everything I use is running fine?

I'm good at judging this with my laptop, but am still trying to get a "feel" for it with the iPhone.

If you want MMS you should Upgrade.

not even true, MMS works fine on 3.0 and 3.0.1 as well :-)

other than that there are supposed to be numerous bugfixes in 3.1, but nothing really big as far as I have heard ... . so if your phone runs fine, you can probably stay away from 3.1 I guess
