Timeframe for Dev team and Chronic Dev 3.1 JBs for 3G(s)?

So, is the general consensus that these teams are waiting to see what the carrier update holds today before releasing JB solutions for 3G(s) owners?

they could have released a JB before 3.1.1, but they didn't. this maybe because they havn't cracked 3.1 for the 3GS yet, they were waiting ... who knows.

It's supposed to activate MMS fot AT&T. I still doubt that there even will be a firmware update, because they can just hand out a carrier update which will do the trick as well.

MMS already works for me on O2 in UK ,I need jailbreak though on 3.1 3gs

I jailbroke my 3G but when i put another ATT iphone SIM into the iphone i dont get service just dots....I didnt get the phone at a store or antyhing how can i get this to work with any att sim?

Well it seems like you know more than anyone else SO WHY ARE YOU ASKING?

Stop it. Really You can guess all day long but Dev Teams don't give hints... they don't announce release dates.. and have basically said not to bother them about the 3GS jailbreak. When they have a final and tested product they will make it public and not one second before. Discussion and speculation about this is a waste of everyone's collective time.

How long will it take to jailbreak the 3Gs?

Oh and I measured and a piece of string is exactly 3.25 inches.

Also, I would like a refund of a portion of our wasted collective time.

How do you know that they could have released a JB before 3.1.1?

I meant technically, if it would have been ready, there would have been no reason to delay the release ^^
