Offical unlocked 3g from New Zeland
Question
since this is an officially unlocked phone 3G 16gb from Apple 3.0 can It be jail broken? Then updated to 3.1 with out loosing Cydia?

Short n sweet answer: YES
But, when upgrading FW you always loose the JB and have to redo it - but so whatDo hope that helps

Technically you update first before you jailbreak...it's pointless to do it vice versa cuz like ^^ said, you lose all jailbreak data when restoring.

there's no jailbreak for 3.1 FW yet so just stick with 3.0.1 until there is one
