winterboard keeps locking up 3gs

hey all. i currently have a 3gs 16gig phone. i am running 3.0.1 kinkda. i recently downloaded redsnow and the 3.0 patch thing. jailbreaking went flawlessly. cyndia worked and what not. my problem runs with winterboard. when i install it, it reboots. when it reboots, it locks up with the apple logo screen. nothing else happens. i have to restore the phone to get it to do anything. i don't know if i am doing something wrong or what. i am getting winterboard right from cyndia. if you all could help me that would be great. i have friends who have done the exact same process and it work perfectly. later

Winterboard doesn't work with 3gs 3.0.1 or 3.0.1 itself. i tried it on mine and it happend too wen i uninstalled it.

talk about help huh? no one even bothers to answer a simple question like this anymore. so inconsiderate...

Winterboard works fine with 3.0 and 3.0.1 on a 3GS. Did you make sure that you had the newest mobilesubstrate installed?

Oh go how retarded does this sound? What exactly is a mobilesubstrate? How would you go about uninstalling 3.0.1 if I need to?

I'm having this exact same problem.

I jailbroke with redsnOw, and it went flawlessly. But when it came to rebooting after installing winterboards, my iphone would just crash.

So do you think its because i didn't install mobile substrate first?

Also i don't know what you mean when you say shift restore to 3.0? In the jailbreaking process i used the 3.0 ispw (or w/e its called)

Install mobilesubstrate first. It should happen automatically with winterboard but sometimes it doesnt work

I downloaded winterboard and rebooted my phone, now the apple logo appears and i cant connect to itunes
