Watching videos on Jail broke phone.

I have a jail broken iphone running on 3.0. I am trying to watch coverage of a local court case on a news station website but can't get it to work. I have downloaded the imobile cinema app from cydia but I just get a play button with a cross thru it when I try to watch now. Any one know what is wrong or how I can do this?

The iPhone only supports certain file types. It could just be a type that iPhone can't play. Try searching YouTube for it. I know for a fact that the iPhone can run Quicktime videos but other than that I don't think it's gonna work. It's a hardware issue that can't be fixed with software tweaks.
