Push Notification Problem with Factory Unlocked iPhone 3GS

Hi,

I found that the Push Notification feature with IM+/ebuddy/Gpush with my iPhone 3GS (factory unlocked, activated and using official carrier 3HK) doesn't work at all. It is on Firmware 3.0.1 jailbroken with redsn0w 0.8.

Everything else including Youtube works but not Push Notification...Any ideas?

[NEW FINDINGS]: I've tested with IM+ the main issue is the app cannot run in background once I get back to springboard. It seems pressing home button immediately kills the app!
