1st Gen pwned 3.0 screwing SIMs?

I have a 1st Gen Iphone, been jailbreaking since the beginning... jailbroke 3.0 using pwnage tool in late June, and now a month and a half later i'm having service problems...

a couple weeks ago, i had full bars on T-mobile, but apparently people were calling me and having their call go straight to my voicemail. during this time also my phone would just say 'no service' on and off...

i went to tmobile, got a new SIM card and the problem was fixed for two weeks, now it says 'no service' again.... could my phone (or basebands if messed up) be burning up my SIMs?

any info would be sweet, thanks

Maybe try a friends AT&T SIM card and figure out if your iPhone or SIM is messed up.
