Completely Control iPhone with no touch screen from computer

I replaced the broken glass on my first gen iphone and put a thin crack in the digitalizer in in the process. Now it looks great but I cant even slide my finger across to open it. I still have a great looking screen and camera so I want to use it as a remote webcam on a remote control car or a video player in an art installation.

What i need to do is gain full control of the iPhone from my computer without having to use the iPhones touch screen at all. The only way i can think to do this is to crate a backup file to restore the phone from with a program like veency already installed and configured.

Any ideas on how to make this work?

Can't pwnagetool add packages to a firmware?
If this is true you can use that to Add Veency or SSH.
