Scores and info after jailbreaking

Hey this is my first post and I''m new to jailbreaking so if these questions are stupid i apologize. I'm planning on using redsn0w to jailbreak my 3gs tonight. the way I understand it is that after I rum redsn0w I just have to resync to get all my apps and contacts back, is that right? And If it is are the scores I have saved for certain games and other info from other apps put back on the phoone after I sync? Thanks in advance for any answers.

If you just jailbreak, your game states should be intact.

unless you're jail breaking after doing a update or restore you dont need to worry about resyncing
