Signal strength, wifi and carrier....1gen, 3.0

So, since I updated from 2.2.1 to 3.0 I´ve had low signals with both carrier and wifi.
I´ve been looking around absolutely everywhere and have not found any fix anywhere only loads of people with the same problem, from 2G - 3Gs.
DoerrFan had a solution for the wifi, which I tried, but it didn´t make the signal stronger.
One thing I seem to have solved though is the the carrier signal. My modem is 04.05.04_G and was on 1.1.1 when I got it, thus 3.9 BL.
I flashed it back to 3.9 and now at least that signal is stronger.

The bl--dy wifi is the same, reach is maybe 10 m... And won´t find any of the networks it used to find on 2.2.1.

Is there really no fix for this???

Noticed similar on my 3G so not sure whats up with that. Had the same thing back on 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 (forget which).

Probably a firmware upgrade will eventually fix this as it did on the 2.x firmwares.
