With previous jailbreaks, I've always uploaded new .CAF files into /System/Library/Audio/Uisounds so I've got my own SMS, Email and Calendar Alert Sounds. For some reason though with the new Purplera1n jailbreak some of the sounds I'm uploading (the same ones I've used previously) aren't being reognised. Not all of them though... one of them is, but most of them aren't.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and had any more success, or if anyone has any ideas why it might not be working?
Never mind, solved the problem! It was permissions, I uploaded the sounds with cyberduck and they were only set as read by owner, not by group or others. fixed this and all sounds are now fine!
