dear all,

have been a happy user of a 2g model w a 1.1.4 software i bought as an unlocked
unit on ebay. now i would like to upgrade the software w/o locking up the phone...
not a typ tech minded person, so looking for some help as to how to do it step by step.
what software version is recommended for the 2g? 2.0 or 3.0?

Personally, I'd recommend 3.0 for a 2G. Battery life seems to be better and it will support everything to come.
