How Long Until iPhone Firmware 3.1 Release?????

Anyone care to venture a guess about how long apple waits to release 3.1 update? It looks like its typically 2 months from the time the beta is seeded to developers till the time its made public. That means Sept till we have a jailbreak...YUCK

Apple said ETA 6 months. They also said be PATIENT !! Dev team said jailbreak is out 6 months later.... so JB 3.1 in a year. PATIENT!!

i'd say sometime between now and shortly after the post proceedings of its release.

well since the sdk and beta are out that means the basics of the os 3.1 are done, developers have to follow the design of the 3.1sdk....dev team can use the 3.1 beta and see if the exploit exists there as well, if it does, you'll probably see the 3.0 jailbreak come out soon and the 3.1 come out on the day of release. just remember don't install the beta yourself, the baseband has changed once again..
