I used my friends up grade (a thousand thanks to him)and got a 3gs 32gig. I dont want to be charged for the data package i turned off data roaming and 3g networking does that turn off the edge also? my old 3g was jailbroke and unlocked i had bigboss on it and it turned them all off. will this work turning off the 3g and data roaming???

Edge is still on. And without jailbreaking the 3GS there's no way of turning it off. And ATT will most likely sweep your account and notice anyways.
