Need help updating a jailbroken 2.2 iphone3g to 3.0
hi to all,
really need some help updating my 2.2 iphone 3g to 3.0.
my iphone is allready jailbroken and i have the aptbackup app on it.
can anyone here on the board direct me to an easy tutorial to do the update or a youtube broadcast?
i really dont want to mess up my phone and the guy i bought it from said its easy to do.

You can't really mess up too badly. Restore usually fixes anything. I've made too many mistakes to count regarding jailbreaking my iPhone so and in the end I always just put in DFU mode and restore. So, easiest way to jailbreak is to go to the dev-team's blog and download redsn0w (assuming you've already upgraded to 3.0 through iTunes) then run the program, follow the directions, and if done correctly, you're done. It's simple really. If you mess up and your phone is not responding, put into DFU mode and restore. Then rejailbreak again if necessary/desired. Thanks for the replies guys

I took me about 3 hours to do and had to use redsnow 3 times but i did it!
The only downside to it is that i lost all my apps
But my contacts are intact along with some other things.
Will upgrade my friends iphone sortly after this post.
