Didn't unhide icons before moving up to 3.0, what now?

So I forgot that I had to unhide any poofed icons that I had, as well as any other preperations that I should have made before restoring up to 3.0. Now the phone is on its way to 3.0 and as I understand, icons that I have hidden back in 2.0 won't show up. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I ended up having to restore to 3.0 in DFU mode, which IIRC, totally wipes the iPhone before putting the new firmware on, so maybe there won't be a problem after all?

going to settings/general/restrictions enable/disable has cured this for most people.

Seems to have worked for me. For anyone else also looking for help on this issue, it seems like you can pull up hidden apps using Spotlight search which is nice.
