    Exclamation PLEASE HELP WITH: iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

    I feel like an idiot, I download the zip file and when I extract it to a folder I get folders and file icons NOT the "cube with the music note". What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help me as I will be using redsnow with my 2G. Thank you!!!!!!

    If I'm understanding correctly, you have a file called iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.zip that you downloaded from some file hosting site like Rapidshare. You need to replace the .zip with .ipsw.

    .ispw files are just .zip files with a different extension

    u can download the same fro
    download only with firefox it download exctly as ipsw file
