So i asked this in two other posts but have not received a response. Is it just me or is the little MMS icon in the texting application gone? used to be on the left side of the entry bar for new text! Now its not there. only thing I could assume is that the GM version i upgraded to was a GEN2 iphone where the MMS is not supported and as such it is not there.any suggestions on this strange phenomenon?

If you "unlock" the MMS by using the modded ipcc method (search), the MMS icon will re-appear.

"GEN[eration]2 iphone" is the iPhone 3G, not the so-called "2G" / "2.5G" (first gen iPhone). You must distinguish the generation of the phone from the generation of the cellular network technology. It's not that hard. FWIW, you never properly spelled out just what phone you are using for us either.
