Just A Few Questions I'd Like To Know Before Doing It....
Okay so i'm new to all this jailbreaking stuff. Matter of fact, I'm new to ipods in all.
I got my iPod touch last saturday. I must admit it's worth every penny.
Okay so here it goes:
I'm using 2.2.1 (5H11a)
I have a 16gig HD
and it's 2nd gen if it's not obvious by the above specs.
Here are my questions:
-When you jailbreak an ipod does it mean you get everything for free?Or is it just apps that the AppStore dissaproves. Like for example could I get Need For Speed Underground or not.
-Also, with music, can i get free albums that just came out that are in the itunes store?
-Another thing, do I need iTunes to do this?
-Do I need to have admin privileges to do this?
-What are some risks?
-Last question, I switch from my mac to my pc a lot (I have both). Could that cause any problems?
THANKS!

1. Mostly all apps are free, there are a small amount of paid apps in Cydia.
2. You can use dTunes to get songs.
3. Yes.
4. No.
5. No risks.
6. Shouldn't, but I only have a PC.

Hey, wecome to MMI
first off I should say that this forum does not support any cracked app as far as to your question about FREE stuff.
So jailbreak doesn't mean everything is free. It allows you to customize and add themes and apps from repos.
Going from mac to pc will not be a problem.

Hmm. You have a Mac, a PC, and an iphone, and you're asking how to get stuff for free?
Guess that's you spent your allowance for the year then?To live, you have to lie

Actually it's quite different.
I live in a place similar to a group home.
I get family visits on occasion. I'm not rich AT ALL. I got the iPod touch as a graduation present.
My mom has an iMac at home.
I use Windows XP where I live.
Don't be quick to say stuff you don't know a damn thing about.

Do you think it was wise to start a thread about 'jailbreaking'? The red light in the warden's office is probably flashing it's nuts off right now
