    Default Broken iphone...is it possible to remove passcode so i can restore?

    Hi all,

    The bottom half of my touch screen doesnt work anymore...and because i have a passcode on it i cant connect it to itunes to restore it.

    Anyone had this issue before and know what to do?

    If the screen is broken why are you wanting to restore it... buy a new screen.

    Maybe he wants to restore so the iPhone can be taken back to apple and get swapped out circa new one

    DFU mode will do the trick.

    Hold the home button and sleep button for 10 seconds and then release the sleep button while continuing to hold the home button. iTunes should not show the message that a phone has been detected in recovery mode.
