iPhone 3G, Totaly failing at everything.
OK here is the issue, the iphone is a 3G 16GB, firmware 2.2.1 My itunes is itunes 8.1.1 or what ever (the newest one) I need to downgrade and jailbrake the iphone. It is in recovery mode and I cant get it out because every restore fails (apart from the 2.2.1 but I cant do that now due to download time, and yes I deleted it stupidly)
How can I sort this out?
Oh and I need to do the jailbreak with my PWN tool custom file.Last edited by Melonking; 04-23-2009 at 12:06 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

You need to be jailbroken to install a custom firmware.
And you need to work out what bootloader you're on before you can find out if you can downgrade the basebandTo live, you have to lie

You need to restore to 2.2.1 then if that's the only install that will work

Ah drat, I was hoping you would give me a link to a super site filled with angles that would make one download fix all the problems in the world.
And you did give me one download made by angles, but its so big.

Lets not add insult to injury guys, ok? I'm sure most of us have accidentally trashed something important at least once or made some other mistake. No one is perfect as much as we might like to be.

If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.
