appstore app Dictionary.com: downloaded via wifi on iphone - didn't work. so I deleted it, rebooted, downloaded via itunes and synced, still doesn't work. i'm running JB 3.0 beta 3

yah. i even rejailbroke it. and i also went into settings and reset my network settings and reupdated my ipcc and still no go

itunes wont ask you. it doesnt hurt to just shift click and update the carrier settings anyway.

i remember iTunes ever ask me to update my carrier setting once..
anyway how do i update my carrier setting?
Shift + Update ? in iTunes??

Question how did you guys get iBluetooth to work? I have tryed everything. It opens and you can get it registered and the first three tabs at the bottom work, but when you click or tap on Activity tab to see the transfer it crashs or also send a file and it crashs. Please let me know how or what else I need to install or what other program or utilities did you guys in from icy to get it to work. Please Thanks

OK guys, I figured out what causes the iTunes store app to crash. It is mobile substrate and it gets installed if you use the reflective dock. Uninstall and problems solved

Can you click on the Activity tab and see when it is transfering? Please also what programs do you have installed in the Icy. Please make me a list in a PM if you like. I think it should be a program like mobilestrate or core or something like that or gzip. I dont know. Please send me what you have done in Icy. Please.

i'm using Status Notifier, i believe its install Mobile Substrate too coz its dependcy..iTunes and App Store work just fine..

get the carrier file for your provider then shift click or option click update in itunes and select the ipcc update.

unless something has changed the ipcc files are causing more grief then fixing anything.

im on beta 3 and no jailbreak. everything works, all apps work. only problem is the dialpad (which i just downloaded a different dialer).

I have been following this thread since it started and have never posted, so now I want to say thanks to StealthBravo for all his hard work. I am registered with a dev, did it on ebay, and have no trouble with the beta 2 or 3. I can't get mms or tethering working, but I know the problem with mms. ATT is a bunch of ****heads. As far as tethering goes, I do not have bluetooth on my laptop, and I think that is the only way you can do it on a PC as of right now. By the way, is anyone having trouble with Dtunes and DLing torrents?

You also have to uninstall the extras that it installs. There are 2 other things. I think one is a Preference Bundle or something and the other is Mobile Substrate. I think those are the correct ones. Check to see if they are installed. The names may not be exact, but should be close. Hope this helps.

Removing preference loader and mobilesubstrate did it! Thanks!

Step 3: Navigate to ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Carrier Support. Notice the spaces in that last folder name! If you're at the command line, use backslashes to escape the spaces, i.e. cd ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Carrier Support. You will find a file with an ipcc extension. Copy that file: e.g. cp foo.ipcc foo.ipcc.original. This creates a backup for when you mess up.

i dont know how to navigate to ~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Carrier Support, i'm on windows..

anyway does this fix my GPRS Setting (APN, User Name and Password are missing, can't find them in Setting!General!Network!Celular data network)
