Firmware 3.0 All Inclusive Jailbroken Awesomeness!

Most apps are working, but Pandora isn't for some reason. I've tried deleting it and re-installing but still no-go.

As others above have found, it appears that using Beta 2 to jailbreak is causing some of the problem with AppStore Apps not working with Beta 3. After upgrading to Beta 3 yesterday; my AppStore Apps worked, until I jailbroke using QuickPwn and Beta 2. After jailbreak, non AppStore Apps worked; but all AppStore Apps, including the actual AppStore App open and immediately close.

I just did a restore of Beta 3 (no jailbreak yet) and all AppStore apps are working... I will probably await an update to QuickPwn before attempting to jailbreak again... Hoping it comes soon... I miss categories.

I think we are just going to have to wait! The quickpwn beta 2 works great. But for free or paid apps. It sucks. It really sucks. Because I have bought about 73 apps and games that are mine. But I wanted jailbreak for file bluetooth transfere and Cycorder for video recordering. But as all know ibluetooth does open, but when you try to transfer a file or goto activity. It just closes up on us. Also the Cycorder does not work. No one knows why. But I think they changed premission again on files. But if the final 3.0 has video recordering super. But I want the bluetooth too. So We guys need to get working on this. I know we can beat Apple. Its that that hard. Also if anyone needs help with spot for dev. PM me. I am a dev and would like to help out. Also I could use your guys help!

Fletch- the jailbreak is messing up the app store apps

Something is killing the apps at the OS level same as unsigned apps are killed. Maybe the jailbreak is copying the code signatures for beta 2 which is breaking it.

what will happen if i just use 3.0b3 without jailbreaking it? i would rather have working appstore apps than jailbreak apps. will i still be able to jailbreak in the future when they fix the problem?

Yes you can when the jailbreak in the future comes out. Thats how I have it right now. I have free and paid apps and games installed in 3.0 beta 3 and works great. 100% Even apps I bought and didn't work in beta 1 or beta 2 now work. So theres good and bad to all. But for normally the 3.0 beta 3.0 is a lot faster and a lot of bugs are fixed.

that sucks i have been reading here and hoping to read "i figured out what was wrong and now everything works with JB"

i was just responding before to the 100th post about what will happen if i install b3 and dont JB etc... what will happen if i do.... what would happen if i actually read a few of the past pages of this thread

I dont see the reason to jailbreak yet. Not until winterboard or sbsettings is out and working properly.

can u guys try skype over 3g on beta 3.

after upgrading jailbraking and restoring back to beta 3 i find myself without skype on beta 3 with the following note when started the skype program.

UPDATE: THIS METHOD IS BUSTED. APP STORE APPS WILL NOT LAUNCH! IT IS BASICALLY BETA 3 RUNNING WITH A BETA 2 KERNEL. QUICKPWN030-3 SHOULD BE RELEASED LATE TONIGHT/EARLY MORNING.
