Having the same problem with all purchased apps not working...most standard apps work, but app store does not...
All of the jailbreak apps that were working for me on beta 2 are working on beta 3... It's just all AppStore apps... Have done hard reboot
unless there is a fix, I may have to go back to beta 2.

So appstore apps that work on beta 2 aren't working on beta 3? Hmm so far I haven't been asked to upgrade, would it be foolish to stay on beta 2:/

iMob still wont let me do any missions though and it has been that way since beta 1
i havent been reading this thread as often as i use to but i am not sure how the people are having problems upgraded but i hold down option and hit "check for updates" and then select the new software as an update and not a restore. the difference is that if you choose restore you have to setup as a new phone or whatever but if you hit update your on the new software but all your apps are already there as well as email, network passwords, etc...Last edited by fletch33; 04-15-2009 at 06:38 AM.

bootcamp works and if you have a VM it will work but you have to play around with it and prevent OS X from seeing the phone all together while you use it so it loads immediately to the XP/Vista VM. i have not done the VM successfully myself and it failed when i tried it but i know it is because the VM didnt grab the phone quick enough and it interrupts the process.
bootcamp would prevent this problem though and it should work perfectly.
i have a dusty XP laptop i keep around for small problems like this and also to remind me of the days when i had virus's. spyware, malware, disk defragging, blue screens, hard to setup network connections, needing a terminal to find my ip address, and having to re-install my OS every six months or so to keep it running as new
sorry i couldnt help it hahaha
