Yes...but you can't install the one that pops up... you have add the following source:

http://www.iphonevideorecorder.com/3

Then go to that source and install the app from there. That one works.

Tried to add the source in Cydia, but says it doesn't exist. Also, won't open in Safari. Suggestions?

Curious if anyone was experiences battery issues with their 3G since 3.0 upgrade. I had my JB and over the last two weeks I was charging my battery twice/day sometimes. Figured it may be due to all the mods I made via the JB.

Decided to take my phone into the Apple Store today. Told them the battery was going bad and they tested it. The Genius specialist had me sit there for 10 mins to test the battery. It seems OK after a restore. When I left the store it shut off. I went back to the store and they gave me a brand new 3G!!! Not only that, they gave me a 16GB by accident (I had a 8GB), which I didn't notice until I got to my car... : )

I had only had my phone since September. Could not believe how easy it was to get it replaced. Guess since the price point dropped it's not worth replacing the battery. Of course the 16GB model was given to me by mistake. Must say great customer service. I expected them to suspect something.

My battery life has always sucked for my iPhone 3G since I bought it. Used it today for probaby 2 hours stretched across 8 hours. Battery died. For me, horrible battery life is normal.

Anyone have any issues with Internet connectivity over Edge/3G after JB? I was given a replacement iPhone 3G yesterday and I can make calls, use WiFi, etc. I JB the replacement phone but this time I was on a Mac so I used PwnageTool. I used redsn0w on Win Vista with my old iPhone and everything worked great.

Wondering if I should JB my phone again or need to restore and then use a back up to get my contacts, etc back. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Use redsn0w over PwnageTool even redsn0w has been known to have those issues

Then I will use redsn0w on my win vista. the AT&T rep is telling me to restore (of course), then get a new SIM card and finally return to Apple. But if it's the JB, then none of that will matter

Still having issues with 3G not functioning properly on my iPhone. I took the card out and reset it, then I replaced it with the IPCC file on the first page of this thread. It will come up with 3G from time to time. But if I switch 3G off and back on most of the time it will show no service. AT&T offered to replace my SIM. Should I do that??

Did you bring them your phone while it was jailbroken?

Still no 3G. Will try JB again on Vista wirh Redsn0w.

DJ Blessed One - Yes, my phone was JB. it was ballsy & stupid for me to go in with it like that. But they never suspected a thing, did a restore on my old iPhone & then it was back to "normal"

Alright, any suggestions of what I can do to get 3G functioning on my iPhone? I did a Restore and Jb via redsn0w on my Macbook and still only have Edge. When I switch to 3G it either says no service or shows one bar with no data. I was given a new SIM card today and still no 3G. Frustrating b/c the first JB everything worked fine. Then when I got this new iPhone 3G because the battery in the old one broke, I can't get 3G working before or after JB.

I know. 10k would have been nice! Maybe if the jailbreak for 3.1 was released exclusively to this thread, it might get people interested.
