I've finally got a jailbroken 2g iphone on 3.0
A few questions-
Do icy themes work, or do you need winterboard?
Can you enable tethering or mms on a 2g iphone?
Bossprefs and poof wouldn't work for me, and after installing poof i couldn't remove it
Under the applications directory theres a "nike.app"?
PS if you wanna change some graphics a lot of things are located in system/library/coreservices/springboard.app such as the dockLast edited by wgm214; 04-10-2009 at 04:10 PM.

So, when cydia is available, will it be possible to safely remove icy? From what I understand icy doesn't actually add the apt sources, and downloads the package lists and information using it's own code instead...
So, after installing the not yet released 3.0 cydia we'll have to add all sources again, but all of the actual packages should be fine since it is just dpkg right?
I'm very excited to get cydia back. The one thing I will miss from icy is that it doesn't auto-refresh the sources. I prefer to manually start the refresh. It is very frustrating to start cydia to remove a package that you no longer want (like cleaning up themes for instance) and to have to wait for the refresh first.

The icy update adds the ability to filter out categories, except that it doesn't work. It will hide the categories from the main list, but still shows items from those categories in the updated section.
I was very excited that I could finally stop seeing updates for themes (I can't run winterboard, so why would I want to know about theme updates?), but right after turning off all the theme categories I did an update and updated had about 30 new themes! WTF?
Cydia can't come fast enough

I wish Icy theming didnt work through winterboard. You have to use Icy on 3.0, but theres no way to theme it!

I read somewhere that making a mac quickpwn would be as easy as copying the bundles from the windows version into the mac version of quickpwn. Does this sound reasonable to you guys?
