hey guys, was wondering if anyone has this issue. I installed 3.05 and jailbroke it, tried to install an app from app store but the app disappears without installing, appstore won't let me log in from the settings and if i choose create an account it says can't connect to itunes store.

I'm not sure about the first two problems, but you're getting the "Can't connect to iTunes Store" message because you installed mobile substrate. One of the problems with mobile substrate (which should be fixed very soon) is that it breaks the iTunes Store. When you click the create account button, the app store uses the iTunes Store app to connect to the iTunes Store, but the iTunes Store is broken by mobile substrate, so it can't connect.

You can create an account inside iTunes and then sync your iPhone/iTouch. Then you can download apps using iTunes or the App Store app on your iPhone/iTouch. You just can't use the iTunes Store app on your iPhone/iTouch and you can't create an account on it either. Other than that, it should work fine.
