Firmware 3.0 All Inclusive Jailbroken Awesomeness!

Not true. I used a mac running XP in VirtualBox and performed this flawlessly four times.


I also have Icy 1.1 installed and working fine.


Two gripes with icy:

One - Sources don't refresh/add on command. I have to refresh, exit, re-enter, exit, refresh, whatever. I hate it.

Two - no recent changes.



Also

Cycorder/iPhoneVideoRecorder dont work.

Winterboard doesnt work

Dock works (suprisingly)

All over the quickpwn site it says that it will not run on a virtual machine. I could not get it to run on parallels vista ultimate. Glad you got it to go

Has anyone gotten a purple activation screen? Where it has all the languages and the emergency call when upgrading to 3.0b2? P.S. I have a 2G iphone. I've tried jailbreaking with the 3.0b2 quickpwn and everything in quickpwn worked fine but it didn't jaibreak the phone. Does anyone have any solutions.

Ive tried running bosstool and the screen just flashes briefly when I try and relocate like stated above and nothing happens. anything else I should install? thanks if anyone can help!

I have the same issue with bosstool. Wont relocate, flashes, back to main screen. reboot does nothing, no changes on anything.

this is getting frustrating LOL

i have everything working except the ability to move my apps folder to make space. i have restored like 9 times trying this. i am using transmit on mac and it connects fine and i have tried



but i am unsure about the "create a link" and i think that is the problem. when i restart after this i have nothing on my springboard except iPhoneApps icon

any suggestions?

It worked for me.
to link: ln -s <ACTUAL LOCATION> <LINK LOCATION>
you may want to change your folder permissions: chmod -R 0777 * or chmod -R a+rwx * in the applications folder.
