I'd like to know how you mount the iPSW DMG files from within Leopard...

I tried mounting the 200MB~ one and it asked me for a password (the DMG came from the beta 4 iPSW).

Could this early release be in anticipation of Leopard 10.5.7 update rumored to be on track for this Friday? Maybe a compatibility update?

Yeah. The IPSW has 3 DMGs, and the biggest one, which is somewhere in the 200MB range, is most likely the one with the file system and stuff. I was wondering if there was a way to extract the stuff from it or to mount it in Leopard. I know that Pwnage Tool can do it...

MacDrive usually does the job (if it's a generic DMG file). DAEMON Tools claims to mount DMGs.
