i have installed the ipcc for at&t and enabled tethering. i want to use tethering over usb. but when i connect the phone to my mac. i don't get the pop up for a new ethernet adapter (en2). is anyone else having the same problem? of if someone can help

@moto you have to have the SDK installed to USB tether. It installs some libs that are
needed.

Beta 4 is awsome
I just love this update . MMS and Tethering working perfectly. And hello USB tethering on Windows yipeeeeeee. Itunes for Windows installs the drivers you don't need to install the SDK.
Phone.app bug is gone. And I love the stores option. I have a US and UK account and now I can easily switch. Awesome...
I need jailbreakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk......now....

I'm on 2.2.1 right now and I'm about to restore to 3.0 beta 4. Is it safe to do a backup on 2.2.1 through iTunes and then do a "restore from backup" on beta 4? I'd heard that on the beta 2 a restore from backup from 2.2.1 caused problems with YouTube or something. Will it cause the same problems on beta 4?

I'd assume its going to about what jailbreaking beta 3 with beta 2 was, no apps bad break. I havent tried yet since my udid isnt reg'ed, but if anyone tries lemme know!! lol
