Well said & totally agree with what you said, I was a windows user also & feed up with crashes, error messages, so much so I threw my 6 mth old HP laptop into the bricks on my fireplace jump on it a few times & went a bought a brand spanking new Macbook that morning.. I have a iMac as well now, could not be happier.

P.S Read some where once... you buy a Mac you never go back! Aint that the truth..

Guys i get an error when i try to restore to 3.0 beta 2 itunes says: "The iPhone could not be restored because the firmware file is incompatible" does anyone know how to sort this, my iphone is in itunes recovery mode.

make sure you are using a 3g firmware for a 3g phone and 2g firmware for a 2g phone

Thanks, i think i originally downloaded the 3g version im a 2g iPhone im tryin a 2g download will let ya know if it happens again, it probably wont but ya know.

Too many noobs..
Follow the guide.. Everything works if you just follow it to the T.
Install the source in icy, apt.saurik.com, Install Cydia..
If it still doesn't work, restore to original 3.0b2, and try again!
Don't cut corners, don't skip steps.. Just read and follow..
