From what I can tell and have read, and I might be wrong, but there is a new ramdisk scheme and currently we can't access the larger partition.
from the Dev-Team blog:
But please don’t expect support for them on this blog, because we’re actually busy with the hard part of the 3.0 jailbreak (the 02.28 incompatibility and the new compressed ramdisk they’re using).

im not exactly sure whats going on with quickpwn, but it wont even initialize the install on any PC i use. it seems like the exe is corrupted because it keeps saying that it has encountered errors and needs to close or it says could not initialize. the message varies from machine to machine but the end result is the same.. no quickpwn. i doubt that it has anything to do with the computers because it happen everytime. i have all of the standard quickpwn necessities like .net fram. and c++ re-distro so it cant be that, and it cant be other installed programs interfering with it because i also tried it on a fresh win xp sp2 install.. then i tried sp3
EDIT: i just tried to install the 2.2.5 quickpwn and no go so i suppose that it is my computer or there is somthing seriously wrong with quickpwn, odds are my comp

Well yeah of course it doesn't crash or lag or whatever, no offense but that's because IT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING lol. I mean seriously think how many damn things Windows is compatible with. If Apple had to be that compatible and actually worked with as many devices as Windows does then you would be singing a different tune. Then again I'm not sure where all this crashing and lagging comes from, Windows NEVER crashes for me, not unless I am doing some really in depth stuff or messing around with cracks that have viri or spyware, in that case I just reboot to DOS and reload a Ghost image that I have saved, takes less than 5 mins on my XP machine and less than 10 on my Vista machine, and then I am back to fresh again.
It's the difference between the BMW and a Ford Probe? Yeah where Windows is the BMW and OSX is the Probe. Actually with as little as OSX can do that Windows can, you should be comparing OSX to a Honda Civic DX. Like I said it's kinda hard for something to break when it doesn't do anything. Just walk into Best Buy and go look around at how much ***** there is available for the PC. Then go look for the MAC section, you will find it hiding in the back corner of the store somewhere in a small little section.
