i have unlocked a couple 3gs but i have a question my cuzin has a 3g 2.2.1 with at&t and all he wants to do is jailbreak it only. can he do it or is it unable to since he upgraded to the newest firmware.....thx any help will be appreciated....

Yes, you can jailbreak it just like before. Using the newest version of Pwnage or quickpwn.
