Default iPhone restore does not clear numerical battery icon?

Part of my touchscreen has stopped responding. I still have the iPhone warranty, so before turning my phone in for a replacement, I know that I have to restore it as if it was never jailbroken, right? I restored to the latest firmware, but the numerical battery icon hasn't restored. Help please?

Not sure. But if it were my phone, I would try Settings/General/Reset/ResetAll Settings and maybe another complete restore

Sure, that will change it ....... but I think the real question was: how to return the iPhone to stock functionality. If I'm not mistaken, a stock iPhone does not offer numberic battery status (one advantage to jb'ing and SBSetting )

I had the same problem. I had to jailbreak again. Load boss prefs and turn the feature off and then restored back to factory again.
