Upgrading jailbroken/unlocked iphone to 2.2

I have been searching all over for a clear answer to this and cant seem to find it. I have a first-gen iphone jailbroken/unlocked running firmware 2.1. I bought the phone this way.
My question is, how do I simply upgrade to 2.2 keeping the phone jailbroken/unlocked? Is it simple or no?
My iphone is running fine right now, only real reasons I want 2.2 are for some apps like facebook that only work with 2.2.

Would love some help with this, i'm brand new to everything iphone.

Short answer, no. When you upgrade to 2.2 you will lose your jailbreak and unlock, however it's quite easy to redo on 2.2 with Quickpwn.
