PLEASE HELP!! MY iPhone is stuck at "connect to..." screen

--Okay so i have read about a thousand and one post now about having your iPhone stuck at restore mode and getting the 1604 error but i still havent been able to figure out what to do! I am pretty sure now that it is the apps in my in my phone but i cant get to them using winSCP because i dont have my i.p. address! please help me. i am stuck...

Note:I tried restoring my iPhone from the phone because my computer wouldnt recognize my iPhone. and thats where everything went downhill... But now it sometimes recognizes's it and im getting that 1604 error when trying to restore... and on the comp. screen it goes; 1.connect usb port screen 2. apple screen (then when the apple screen is up my computer changes from apple is connected to, usb not recognized) 3. and then it goes back to the connect usb cable screen and then the 1604 error comes up on my computer...

Please help, it would be greatly appreciated :9

Try placing the phone into DFU mode like this:

1. Itunes open, phone plugged in, phone off.

2. Hold the POWER button for 5 seconds.

3. WITHOUT letting go of POWER, now hold the HOME button for 10 seconds (both held).

4. Let go of POWER, CONTINUE to hold the HOME button until Itunes recognizes the phone (usually around 15-20 seconds).

Restore. Hopefully.

Did you try DFU mode? Change usb port and a different cable.

Yes ive tied DFU mode and thats the only way it will recognize it,
But after i do DFU mode in one usb port i have to switch ports...
And i only have one cable.
MY computer wasnt recognizing it.. but i think if i wouldnt of tried to restore fromt he iPhone everything would be fine...
im stuck on this one; i really am.

You can "trick" Itunes by using Quickpwn.

Run Quickpwn like you normally would....when you get to the point of placing the phone into DFU mode and quickpwn ACTUALLY STARTS...the screen on the iphone will turn COMPLETELY WHITE......

AS SOON AS THE SCREEN GOES WHITE.....KILL/CLOSE QUICKPWN IMMEDIATELY.

If done right, the screen on the iphone will remain white.

Now, go to Itunes and restore.

Think of it as DFU's big brother.
