error 21 / 2001

Hi, i am trying to pwn my iphone to 2.2. For some weird reason, when i try to enter DFU mode, i get error 21, followed by error 2001, which error 2001 says " An ipod has been detected, but it cannot be detected properly. I have a iphone 2g, and itunes 8. Please help! thanks

Are you on a Mac with 10.5.6?

yup, and i just ran that automater prorgram, and after rebooting, it worked, but then it failed when it finished unzipping the firmware

k i got it to jailbreak, but now i don't get service, i choose not to do anything to the baseband, maybe i should?

If the automator didn't solve your DFU issue,then try to use Usb Hub...
