1.1.4 to 2.0 how to.

hey guys super noob here i have 1.1.4 and i have installer....so now there is cydia and i have rear that i can have 2.0 with cydia and i would like to do that (for a lot of obvious reasons.
i already have cydia on my iphone but its version 1.
can some one give me a hand with this?

If you decide to upgrade,go to 2.2...
Sync with itunes,backup your contacts.
Restore to itunes.
Use quickpwn.
Set up the phone as NEW in iTunes and recync your contacts.

Don't you have to ugrade to 2.0 BEFORE 2.2? I believe you can't go straight from 1.xx to 2.2.
