    Default using quickPwn, getting error

I have a phone that is not activated. It is forcing me to activate through iTunes. I don't have an AT&T account. I tried quickPwn but i am getting this... "the IPSW file you selected (iPhone1,1_2.1) does not match the firmware version of your device (iPhone1,1_2.2)" but it does not make sense because I downloaded two seperate files "iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw" from two different locations and still same error. will this even help me to by pass the activation? If not, what do I do to activate the phone? help!

what ipsw is on your phone? you need to do like a full restore using the iPhone1,1_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw one. THEN quickpwn will work when you select that one. quickpwn only jailbreaks and unlocks the firmware that is already on the device. so in order for it to work you have to select the one thats on the device

Have you browsed for and found the file you have downloaded with the correct filename? Is that waht is showing in quickpwn or have you pwned before and not changed the file it's looking at?

I downloaded the file to my pc then ran quickpawn. i then browsed to the file i downloaded and it told me that file on my phone did not match the one i chose; although it has the name showing the right version.
