Phone app opens up, and when I touch it, it just closes, just lyk dat.

Everytime I reboot the icons across the 8 pages, keep shuffling,, dunno how to stop that.

I installed Kate from Installer, playing with the settings a lil' bit ,, may be thats the reason.. but now I removed it, and its still the same.

Dunno wat to do,, if any1 had same prb nd resolved it,, do let me knw.

Kate is the DEVIL! I had the exact same problem after I installed Kate. I wound up restoring and re-jailbreaking. You probably need to do the same. I've pretty much given up on Installer as a whole for 2.X. Cydia is much more stable and safe imo.

Uninstalling Kate does not remove the settings. Re-install kate.. then go to settings > RIP Dev Preferences and go into the Kate settings. I don't know if you have to press the kate button or the blue arrow... but after that uncheck ALL the options and THEN you can uninstall kate.

I am having this same issue, icons keep scrambling. But I never installed KATE from installer.. The phone was actually working pretty fine.. theres a couple games I got, but its been fine.. I just decided to reboot last night and noticed all my icons went evereywhere. Did use the phone till this morning, and noticed that I could nt make any calls, and it just goes right back to home. I cant even push anything on the phone.
