Companies are advertising 3g unlocking software for any version of Iphones at a price of 20pounds, is it a scam or for real?

The particular software which i am interested in buying is called easyiphoneunlocking?

Please assist....my version i have is 2.1

+1.. There is no other unlock for a 3G besides Yellowsn0w.
So to answer your question. YES, its a scam.
Plus, even if you were to buy it. They only provide you with the yellowsn0w app. So you would still need to jailbreak it inorder to even run that app.

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a "Corrupt Baseband", as my 3g iphone was unlocked and worked with two service providers, but after 3 days now shows no service and cant use any sim card. I have tryed unlocking with Yellowsnow again but no luck.

If anyone can please advise what i should do..another iphone informattive sugessted that the baseband is corrupt, but do know if this is true

DFU restore to 2.2 and start all over.

everytime you change sims you have to reboot your iphone.
