problems in unlocking 3g v2.2 help

hi all

i upgraded to 2.2 as said in the tut in the yellowsn0w site..
and jail broke it. i also installed yellowsnow from cydia and followed the steps exact but nothing is happening... it says i have voice mail in the phone when i put in the sim card but it wont show the bars nor the t-mobile logo i also waited 10 sec took out the sim n put it bk in n wated 15 sec on the lock screen no luck then i waited 5 min to up to 8 hrs slept over night n still now luck

can any one help?

ok i tried that didn't work

so i uninstalled 9.5 and installed latest one 9.6 it works but every time i reboot the phone i have to pop the sim out n put it bk in in order for it to work lol
