Default Upgrade Iphone 2G to 2.2 Firmware w/o losing any Apps

I have an Iphone thats already Jailbroken, with Firmware 1.1.4. I want to upgrade the firmware to 2.2. I have alot of Apps installed and I do not want to lose them. What would be the Steps to get it done easily. If someone has done this please reply to me. My service is T-Mobile..i dont think that has anything to do with it but just to let you all know.

Get app backup from cydia and it backs up all your apps.....when you update and restore it restores them all (cydia apps only)

If that doesn't work then try SSH
Copy and paste all the apps in a folder on your COMP and when you rejailbreak...just drag them all back in

Ok thanks, also what program is good to upgrade it to 2.2. I was going to use Quickpwn but it only works if I have Itunes 8.0 and firmware 2.1 on the phone. Which program would work?

Also the backup program in Cydia...Is it called "backup" if so, whats the source to get it. Thanks. Btw, I have a program called Timecapsule...is that it?
