Anyone else have low signal/no service problems after upgrading/unlocking to 2.2?

I have a 2G iphone, unlocked and upgraded to 2.2 using pwnage on my macbook. I now have no signal. If I reboot the phone, I can get signal back from around 45 minutes, but then it goes to no service and and then I have to reboot it to get it back. Any suggestions on what I can do to get this back to full service?

Uncheck the activation box when you are using pwnage tool...
