Help 3G Upgarde to 2.2 Error

Hi,
when i try to upgarde 3g iPhone from 2.1 to 2.2 by restoring in iTunes i got error 1030 & then iphone gone in recevory mode.
Can someone guide me what to do now???

Put your iPhone in to DFU mode, then restore it.

now the phone is in recovery mode, USB Cable+iTunes, how to go in DFU Mode???

Turn off your phone,hold Power and Home,as the grey apple logo comes up, release the power button,but keep holding the home button and wait for iTunes to detect your phone in recovery mode.

Thx, i have did this & now its upgraged to 2.2 now i use QuickPwn or WinPwn to jail brake it? or can u refer me to any step by step guide????

sn0ws, he is on 2.2 and the winpwn link you posted will not work for him.

jungu, download quickpwn 2.2 for osx or windows from the download section of this site.

it is at download-iphone software-windows or osx-quickpwn 2.2

after you download it run it and you will be good to go
