Please help
So Im trying to jailbreak my iPhone 3g running 2.2 on my windows computer, and I'm having a heck of a time. I tried winpwn and eveytime it tried to find the ipsw, it said that the ipsw was incorrect. So then I tried quickpwn, but after putting the phone into dfu mode, the loading bar would just remain empty and never start actually doing anything. What am I doing wrong? All help is greatly appreciated.

u dont have 2.2 on ur pc
just click restore in itunes and it will ask u to download it,then use qpwnDFU Restore Mode:
1. Power phone OFF. 2. Hold power + home for 10 seconds. 3. Let go of power and continue to hold home until iTunes finds the phone.

But I downloaded the 2.2 software off modmyi.com's tutorial on how to jailbreak the iphone 3G.
