Problem with phone key pad

Hi everyone. This site looks great! I have a problem with my i-phone 3g with 2.2. I jailbreaked it using Quickpwn22-1 the other day and now when I try to use the phone key pad to dial out, no keys will work and it then goes back to home. Help would be great!

Did you install Kate? If so go to settings.. RIP Dev preferences... and uncheck ALL the options (Facelift, uCalanader, ect) and then uninstall Kate.

How do you un-install kate?

Will kate work without authorization code?

If you did not install Kate then you don't need to worry about it, Kate is available in Installer. Did you install Installer and Cydia during the Jailbreak process?

Yup, Cydia and installer istalled. But I didn't get an authorization code.

Authorization code for what? Im confused.. you never answered if you installed Kate from Installer.

Kate is installed. Ok I found the uninstall button. Can I just uninstall or is there something I should do first?

My i-phone doesn't like Kate. I un-installed it and now the phone keypad works again. I know I have a lot of reading to do but what can you do with a jailbreaked i-Phone? Are there any good free aps??
