DFU not working

My computer says its in DFU mode but none of the unlocking software recognise the phone. Old or new.
Also tried restore mode too. No luck.
iTunes does recognise the phone but comes up with errors on different versions of iTunes.

Phone was upgraded through itunes hoping to quickpwn but only got the yellow triangle.
I have tried all the old methods to restore this without luck and none of the new ones work either.
Is this a total bricked phone?

Any new answers would be fantastic.

Don't know if you're using a Mac, but apparently the new upgrade to 10.5.6 disables DFU USB mode.

The difference between a Combo Update and an update is that simple: The difference between a Combo Update and an update is that simple:

I tried this 4 times in the past day before making this "Post" and I worked only with the combo update. If you have one of the NEW macbooks that just came out last month or so then DFU won't work. Try buying a USB HUB which uses it's own set of drivers.
